Identification

Designed to be a clean, cleaning boat, Solar SeaCleaner collects floating waste such as plastics, polystyrene, algae and wood and stores it on board in a dedicated container, while navigating.

To meet the challenge of water pollution, this solution provides solar electric boats for passenger transportation able to collects floating garbage. Extremely simple to use, the cleaning engine is integrated within the hull and not below, allowing the boat to be very close to the shore and to even dock directly on the beach. In addition, this integrated approach allows to reduce the risk of contact with the propeller, which is fundamental in swimming areas. The Solar SeaCleaner solution requires little maintenance and no fossil fuels while being able to sail for hours. The boats are equipped with a collecting basket that can be lowered into the water and, once filled up with garbage, mechanically operated to lift its content into a central collection point, which can gather up to 250 kg of trash. Built as a catamaran, the Solar SeaCleaner is especially suitable for marinas, ports, touristic areas or even bathing areas thanks to their silence as well as their manoeuvrability.
